“I wanted to share with you our experience recently with Napa Flats Catering and specifically, Amy Paape.
A little background will be helpful. We were planning a College Station wedding and reception from afar. The bride (to be) was located on the east coast and we (her parents), were in California. Originally, the reception was to be held at an all-inclusive venue scheduled for February 10th. Just before Thanksgiving 2023, we learned the venue would be cancelling due to delays in renovations originally scheduled to be completed in time for this event.
After scrambling to secure a new venue, we turned to catering options. I contacted Napa Flats and was put in touch with Amy Paape. From the first point of contact, I received prompt return calls and emails from Amy each and every time I needed to reach her. Our first meeting was scheduled right after my first call. We had never scheduled an event such as this and we required a great deal of expertise leading us through the entire process. Amy was incredibly helpful, professional and accommodating! She offered advice about how we needed tailor our decision making and offered suggestions when we were unsure. Each and every one of her suggestions were exactly what we needed!
As a result of a rushed timeframe due to the other venue cancelling on us, Amy never once made us feel hurried or under pressure. She gave us reasonable timelines and was extremely understanding of our predicament. She was invaluable to our experience in leading us through choices to make the most of our limited resources. She really offered great ideas and never once made us feel inadequate in trying to deliver an upscale experience with a limited budget.
Amy and Napa Flats delivered on every single aspect promised! When we arrived at the reception, I was greeted by Amy (the first time we met in person) and she was every bit as wonderful that day as she had been throughout our planning process. The food was delicious and it was served by a professional catering staff. When they were done that evening, the staff left their service area in a clean and very inconspicuous manner. We were given all the leftover food. One of my biggest concerns as we planned was whether we would have enough food and thanks to Amy’s guidance in the planning process, there were leftovers to take home. It was a relief to know everyone had their fill !
Amy was so accessible to us throughout the process from the moment we contacted her. I really felt she had us in her care and we’d have a wonderful time. Her professionalism, her personality, and her expertise delivered beyond our hope as we entered into business with Napa Flats. Amy and the service staff exceeded our expectations!!!
Amy is quite a valuable asset in the catering arm of your business and I wish her much success in the future.

“We used Napa Flats to cater our wedding and it was perfect! We had 4 different types of brick oven pizzas as well as side salads and gelato. EVERYTHING was delicious! We had so many of our guests compliment the pizza and want more. They were quick with the pizzas and they never got cold, everyone was able to enjoy hot pizza. Not only do they have pizza but they have a lot of other options when it comes to catering. They were very helpful through the process and figuring out how much food we would need for our guest count. I would definitely recommend them for your next event!”

She was so sweet and initially after receiving the quote I was going to back out due to it being to high but she worked with me and made the quote more practical for me. She invited me and my fiance in to try the food and it was delicious! But so is every dish at Napa Flats. Their catering went smoothly at the wedding and people loved it. I have celiac and a few guests are also gluten free and she was able to accommodate with gluten free pasta and gluten free labels for our other guests. I heard their serving staff was very particular about the gluten free food remaining not cross contaminated and ensuring only gluten free people received this portion. I was so grateful to have worked with Amy and would highly recommend Napa Flats for their responsiveness, good food, and great service!”
