Tom Kenny and his wife Amy recently met with Texas Governor Greg Abbott at the Texas Governor’s mansion.

Tom is Chairman of the Leadership Council of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).  The NFIB is America's leading small business advocacy organization, a non-profit, non-partisan group representing the interests of small business owners in Washington, D.C. and state capitals, focusing on promoting small business owners' right to own, operate, and grow businesses through lobbying, research, and member benefits.

Part of Tom’s role as Chairman of the Leadership Council of the NFIB is to help set legislative priorities and advocate on issues like taxes and regulations, which led to the productive meeting with Governor Abbott.

Tom is also past President of the Texas Restaurant Association (TRA), one of the nation’s largest trade organizations with over 5,000+ members advocating for a total of over 58,000 foodservice establishments in Texas, and a workforce of over 1.5 million Texans with an industry wide economic impact of $138 billion.

Currently, Tom is bringing voice to thousands of foodservice establishments that are under an ever increasing weight of credit card processing fees that drive prices higher for consumers and profits lower for small businesses.

Tom Kenney is Co-Founder and Partner of WFK Restaurant Group, comprising restaurant and catering company holdings in both College Station, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma.  College Station restaurants include Napa Flats Wood-Fired Kitchen, and Napa Flats Bistro, along with Napa Flats Catering.  Tulsa properties include Napa Flats Wood-Fired Kitchen, and Napa Flats Catering Tulsa.
